                                       News At EMA

01/06/2012 EMA is pleased to announce that they have acquired Carwithen Associates Inc., a manufacturers' rep company that has supported the DC, Maryland, Virginia and eastern West Virginia markets since 1972. Doug Smith, the former president of Carwithen has taken a position with one of our principals - Isodyne Inc. and had to divest his interest in the firm. As a result of the acquisition, Matt Williams will join EMA as a field sales rep covering DC/Maryland. Late last year EMA hired Jim Lindsay to cover the Virginia and eastern West Virginia. Both of the new employees are seasoned veterans and will make welcome additions to the EMA sales team. Aside from extending our reach with the existing EMA line card, this acquisition has also brought the addition of Impact Cases to our "all locations" line card. Impact is a manufacturer of custom aluminum transit cases for the industrial and military markets. Impact also supplies injection molded plastic cases and manufactures portable rack mount systems.

10/03/2011 EMA is pleased to announce that we have signed a rep agreement to cover 7 States in the South East for IEH Connectors. IEH is the leading supplier of MIL-DTL-55302 connectors and has made their name with their Hyperboloid contacts which feature a high immunity to shock and vibration as well as high temperatures. They also have a low insertion and extraction force which makes them ideal for high density terminations. Custom configurations are a breeze for this family owned company that has been serving the market since 1937.

7/10/2011 EMA is pleased to announce that we have extended our agreement with Nelson Nameplate to now include the State of Florida for military customers. Nelson recently merged with Miller Dial, who had an employee based in Georgia who will stay on to cover the commercial accounts for both Nelson and Miller in Florida and Georgia. EMA will cover the military accounts in both markets. EMA also signed a rep agreement with Lighthorse Technologies, an RF connector and RF cable assembler based in San Diego, CA with off-shore and domestic manufacturing locations.

4/27/2011 EMA is pleased to announce the signing of Leoni Elocab Ltd. of Kitchener, ON Canada. 8/20/2010 EMA is pleased to announce the signing of Triquint Semiconductor in the Florida market. This market is definitely one of the best areas of the country for their product portfolio and we are very excited about the prospect of representing such an industry leading company. The agreement goes into effect at the end of August but we will not let that get in the way of supporting our customers should they have immediate needs. Triquint is the world's largest supplier of GaAs and GaN foundry services and has grown over the past few years into $800M in sales. Triquint serves the military, aerospace, industrial, instrumentation, telecom and consumer markets. Their web site is located at www.tqs.com
